      1. Do you have a storefront?
        No, I am small boutique-style home bakery that designs and bakes beautiful cakes, gifts and party favours from start to finish for clients like you.
      2. How much time to you need to do a cake?
        I ask for a minimum of 4 days notice for all orders. I recommended contacting me between 2-4 weeks in advance as I do get booked up early. Wedding cakes should be booked at least four months in advance. For baby births, shalom zachors and brises I will always try to accommodate, but please contact as soon as possible. I try to accommodate rush jobs (under 4 days notice) but they do incur a 10% rush fee.
      3. Do your cakes taste good?
        Of course they do (and of course I would say that!) But seriously, a beautiful cake should also be delicious.  My cakes and treats are made from high quality strictly kosher ingredients.
      4. How much does a cake cost?
        Send me an email for my most up to date price list.
      5. How much cake do I need?
        I will recommend you order less and not more…especially if there is a sweet table with other desserts on offer.  I typically advise you order for 60-70% of your total anticipated guests. But of course, this is entirely up to you. Most of my cake do freeze well if wrapped up properly.
      6. When you say a “serving” how big is that?
        about 1″x 2″ by 4″ high.
      7. Do you deliver?
        Yes, we can deliver and set up cakes at your venue. Contact us for an estimate.
      8. Can I pick up my cake? Yes, you can pick up from our kitchen in Baka, Jerusalem. Pick up hours are between 9am-1pm. Call us to arrange the pick up. Please be punctual.

      10. Do you sell fondant, cake decorating supplies or candles or cards?
        I do not sell fondant or cake decorating supplies. Check out this post for shops in the area. Mini candles, sparklers and cards can be order with your cake.
      11. Do you teach classes?
        Yes, I do. Private and group classes are available. Check the website for postings about the latest group classes or email for private instruction.
      12. Do you do tastings?
        Yes. Tastings are 50 nis for a 30 min tasting consultation. Payment can be done in advance via paypal or at the tasting. They can be done between 9-12 am S-F and need to be booked at least a week in advance. At the tasting you can sample cake and frosting samples to find out what works for you and your guests. Wedding favours may also be offered. At the tasting, we also will look at ideas for cake and discuss what design you would like. For wedding cakes (or an equivalent 3+ tier cake) the cost of the tasting will be deducted from your final order.
      13. Do you offer Gluten-free and Vegan Cakes?
        Yes we do, however we are not an exclusively GF environment. If your allergy is severe we recommend that you look for an exclusively GF bakery.
      14. Are you kosher? Do your cakes have a hashgacha?
        Yes, I only use kosher ingredients and I work in a strictly kosher kitchen. However, only my wedding cakes (or cakes for 120+ servings) are available with a hashgacha.
      15. Where is your price list?
        The complete list  is available by email request. Email me and I will send you a price guide to my products. Custom items will need to be priced by the project and the work involved.
      16. How do I order a cake? Email me with your event date, number of servings you will need, and any design ideas you may have. I usually will reply within 24 hours.
      17. How does payment work?
        A minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required to place your order and secure your date. This can be paid by cash, cheque, bank transfer or paypal.  PayPal transactions are subject to a 2% additional fee.
